Biography
Bastien founded Aona AI in 2023 to close a gap he kept seeing inside enterprise after enterprise: AI adoption was moving faster than governance could catch up. Employees were quietly pasting confidential data into consumer AI tools, and security teams were running blind.
At Aona he leads product and engineering. The focus: make enterprise AI adoption confident by default. Real visibility into which AI tools employees actually use, policies that prevent data leaks rather than just warn about them, and in-context coaching that makes the safe path the fastest path.
Previously CTO of Sven Global, CTO and co-founder of G'day AI (an enterprise chatbot platform used by David Jones, NRL, and the Sydney Cricket Ground), and senior engineering roles at WWF Australia, Woolworths Group, and Westpac.
